Welcome to St. Lucia. This sovereign island in the eastern Caribbean Sea is located north/northeast of St. Vincent, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique. It covers a land area of 617 km2 (238.23 sq mi) and has a population of approximately 174,000.

This volcanic island is mountainous with lush rain forests and sandy beaches. Its tropical climate ranges between 70 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year. The most famous and distinct world heritage site, the pitons is both a natural and romantic wonder. The twin peaks rise majestically 2,000 feet above sea level. It’s like nothing you have ever seen before.

St Lucia offers a taste of paradise with its great climate, scenic beauty, welcoming local hospitality and the added bonus of affordable property. It is sure to provide a great experience for those who enjoy a laidback lifestyle.

St Lucia is a vibrant, colorful and charming location and every year more and more foreigners from the around the world arrive on the island. 

While the main source of the St Lucian economy is tourism and offshore banking, most foreigners don't come here to work. Property is cheap, especially when compared to prices in Europe or North America and the low cost of living also serves to make this a popular retirement destination. 

The official language is English; however a French base Creole patois is widely spoken by the locals. The currency is Eastern Caribbean Dollars (XCD); however the United States Dollar (USD) and all major credit cards are accepted.  

Investors find the island very attractive because of its stable currency which is linked to the USD.
